Today’s generation of moms is different from generations of the past. Strict definitions of motherhood no longer apply, and mothers now have an opportunity to characterize their roles on their terms. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the Huggies brand announces the Generation Huggies Program honoring today’s mom.  The Generation Huggies Program has embarked on a cross-country tour to learn what it means to be a mom. There are three ways moms can be a part of the Generation Huggies Program:

 

  • Moms can upload a 60-second video at http://www.GenerationHuggies.com telling what motherhood means to them.
  • Visit a Generation Huggies event in five select cities through October to create their 60-second video through the Video Creation Station.
  • Enter for a chance to win $30,000 to support the next generation of Huggies babies in the Generation Huggies Sweepstakes.

The stories of 30 moms from across the country will be featured in a national online ad campaign in early 2009.  “The Huggies brand has provided solutions to moms for 30 years and we look forward to supporting the newest generation of moms and babies,” said Craig Wanous, Huggies brand senior brand manager. “Today’s generation of moms has something special in common with their babies — they are the first who wore Huggies diapers themselves and also use Huggies brand products on their kids. The Generation Huggies 30 Years, 30 Moms program demonstrates the brand’s commitment to listening to mothers and honoring their individual approaches.”
