As an action-packed summer draws to a close and kids head back to the classroom for another school year, The Melting Pot restaurants invite moms to celebrate their newfound freedom with a “Girls Night Out” fondue event during August and September. “Moms play so many different roles every day – chef, chauffeur, caregiver, wife, coworker, coach, teacher,” said Kendra Sartor, The Melting Pot’s vice president of brand development. “Our Girls Night Out events give them an opportunity to just be themselves for a change, and the fondue experience itself allows them to relax, recharge and reconnect with friends- no kids, husbands, dishes or diapers allowed.”  While each location puts its own twist on the event, most offer cheese, salad, entree and chocolate courses for an all-inclusive price of around $35 per person.  Many restaurants even offer additional pampering like fashion shows and spa treatments in the restaurant, helping moms decompress from a kid-filled summer.
