Nintendo’s Wii “Wii Would Like to Play” campaign, created by Leo Burnett, walked away a Grand Effie winner at the 40th Annual Effie Awards.  A key to the campaign’s success was moving beyond targeting youth with its digital gaming message and appealing to parents and elders.  Deborah Meyer, VP/CMO, Chrysler LLC and one of the award judges stated, “Leo Burnett’s marketing strategy for Wii will forever change the gaming industry and its dialogue with consumers.”
